What's wrong with my connection?

Every time i shut my computer down and restart it my internet doesnt work. When i unplug and replug my router it still doesnt work. THE ONLY way i can get it to work again is if i do a system restore. How do i fix this?????

look for a virus or spyware, becuase thats about the only thing that I can think of that would cause problems across a system restore.
