What's wrong with my debit card - Visa?

when i was using my Visa debit card to get gas it wouldnt let me then i went to an ATM and tried taking out cash but it said invalid pin and request denied. im not sure wats wrong, and i check my records online and i still have all my money in it so i dont think its theft. whats wrong?

there are possible reasons why a card gets declined aside from common reason of having no funds in the account. Terminal used may not recognize the card, wrong expiration date is entered, pin incorrect, or there could be restrictions on the card used. to verify on this, try calling cust service of your bank coz card may be restricted by fraud department or for specific reason unknown to you...

Any time you have a question about your account, you should call the bank.  Obviously, if the ATM said you used the wrong PIN, there's a problem of some kind.  Your bank is the only place you can get help.

If it said invalid pin the you typed in the wrong pin number.

The number (pin) that the bank has isn't matching what you are entering so it won't release the funds to you.  You can call the 1-800 number on the back of the card and talk to customer service to get it straightened out.
