Question:

What's wrong with my dishwasher?

First, there is standing water in my sink, on both sides (the sink and dishwasher side). I think it's clogged or something. Second, I can't use the dishwasher. When I try to wash dishes the sink fills up with water and overflows onto the counter top. Now, there is nasy water in my sink. I've poured a whole bottle of liquid plumber, and I used a half of bottle of drano down the sink. The water will not drain. Now, whenever I try to run the dishwasher, because there is standing water in the dishwasher too, all the drano i used flows into the dishwasher, which leaks all over the floor. I've went on different websites, but I don't understand. Does anyone know where the clog might be or how to get rid of it?

  1. the problem is a clog in the drain line of the sink since it is backing up into both sinks it is below the joint where the two drains meet probably the sink trap or the horizontal pipe that goes into the wall it will need to be snaked out so you might want to call a drain cleaning service

  2. I think that there is something clogged in your sink, you might want to call a plumber to take a look at it.
