  1. She might be coming down with a cold. I know dogs that have done the same thing, they didn't dye because of it. She might have an upset stomach, let her go outside and eat grass, and if you have any pepto give her a little bit of it. Hope it all works out.

  2. I have 6 dogs so I know alot about them, but everyone should know this...DON'T FEED YOUR DOG CHOCOLATE! When your mom or dad gets home, take her to the vet ASAP! I cannot stand seeing dogs or cats die. Remember, DON'T FEED YOUR DOG CHOCOLATE!

  3. The best advices is, if you think a dog (or cat) is acting different, you should always take to a vet, or call the vet place and see if you can talk to the vet, and describe the concerns to the vet. The vet may tell you that your dog will be fine, or the vet may say bring your dog in.

Not sure how old your dog is, so I can't say it could be health problems or not. Older dogs sometimes get health problems when they get older, just like people do.

Know that wasn't much help, but do call the vet see if you can talk to the vet, or take the dog in to see the vet when you can, when you're parents are home. You're parents might not think that there is no reason to see a vet neither.

  4. take her to a vet!! and never feed her that much human food! i only give my dog a little human food, my dog cant eat chocolate. i hope ur dog will be alright.good luck!

  5. if she is weak and doesn't seem like her self (ex: not energetic, playful or doing things she normally does ) then definitely call the vet or if you think its bad go to the animal hospital.  if she is throwing up or has diarrhea  try feeding him/her some boiled chicken and plain white rice it helps settle their stomach normally i feed my dog that diet for 3 days to a week or as soon as shes better.  normally when dogs are sick their noses are dry and very warm to the touch.

  6. Dogs are not supposed to have chocolate!  Maybe its that his tummy can't handle all that bread AND chocolate. I would talk to the vet if I were you. Don't take any chances with her. PLEASE

  7. She could be. Why are you wasting your time on here? Your dog needs a vet right now!

  8. You need to call you Mom or Dad and tell them what is going on. Your dog needs to go to the vet RIGHT NOW.

  9. Phone your parents and tell they your dog is very ill and needs a vet!  If they can't come pick up the dog and take her in, then they can call a vet that does house calls to come take a look at him.

  10. Seems like she is allergic to the chocolate donuts. She is suffering from a serious chocadon hangover. The sad truth is that some dogs can die from eating one piece of chocolate, whilst others can eat a whole tray and be as bright and bushy tailed as ever.

I do not know how old you are, but perhaps you can ring a vet and ask if there is a stabiliser you can give in order to neutralise the poison. They obviously will demand you bring the dog in, but if you explain your situation and circumstances, perhaps a vet of compassion may provide some useful tips.

She may be hallucinating and from what you describe, your dog's condition does appear to be pretty serious. Is there any way you can contact your parents? Try and remain calm as this at least will provide some stress release for your dog. Take action as soon as you can and best of British luck!

  11. Okay, from your additional details I understand that you're a kid, and that you didn't give the chocolate to the dog - sometimes things happen but you need to try to save your dog.  That is a large amount of chocolate and yes, it could kill your dog.

The first thing you need to do is call your mom or dad and tell them what is going on and that you need someone to come home and take the dog in RIGHT AWAY.  She is definitely showing some very bad signs and needs to go in ASAP.

The second thing you can do is if you cannot get a hold of your parents, call your vet!  Tell them what is going on.  Tell them you are a kid, you can't get a hold of your parents, and you are afraid the dog is dying.  Tell them what she ate and how she is having difficulty breathing.  Ask them what you can do.  They might be able to tell you something over the counter to give her to help her hold on until help arrives, or if you are very, very lucky, someone from your vet's office may be willing to come to you and pick up you and the dog to get her the emergency medical help.  If your vet's office is closed, call an emergency vet!  You can find the closest one online or in the phone book, or the message on your vet's phone line will almost always give you the nearest emergency vet's phone number.

  12. If you're that worried, why haven't you taken her to her vet yet?  She's obviously showing you she's sick - get going.  She needs the vet now!

  13. WHY HAVE YOU NOT TAKEN THE DOG TO THE VET??? DOGS ARE ALLERGIC TO CHOCOLATE. you need to get in your car right now and drive there, the dog could die and she is suffering.

  19. Call one of your friends or a relative, or ask the neighbours if they could give you a lift down to the vets. Honestly, if you love her, you would keep searching for someone to take you to a vet until you find one.

  20. Obviously you know that chocolate is poisonous to dogs, and it can make them really sick. you definitely need to take her the the vet asap. call your parents to see if they can come home, or try to contact a relative to take the dog to the vet. it needs help. i hope your dog gets better! keep searching the internet for ways you can help your dog if you can't get her to the vet soon.
