What's wrong with my eggplants?

Early in the season I had medium sized eggplants. Now all I am getting are about a two inch egg plant. What seems to be the problem? It hasn't really been that hot, maybe a couple of days in the 90's. Are they done for the season?

  1. It's God's way of telling you that eggplants must die.

  2. No they are not done at all..but I dont know the reason for the small fruits..I would say they need a phospherous and pottasium fix..You haven't been giving them something like all purpose miracle grow have you?? For this is loaded with nitrogen which will give you mostly leaves and no fruits...I have ichiban going and it has been well in the 90's and some triple digits for a couple days here..I am still harvesting mine...Phospherous and potassium are good for the roots and the fruits..nitrogen supports the leaf..Miracle grow sells a product called "bloom booster" that drops the nitrogen content down and increases the phosphrous and pottasium...this will produce more fruit..here is a picture of it...then afew pictures of my garden..
