  1. It could be that your toothbrush bristles are hard and you may be brushing your teeth with too much pressure.  But take note, bleeding gums is a sign of gum disease that should not be taken for granted.  Make sure that you know the proper techniques of brushing.  Protect yourself from the complications of gum disease and seek help from a dental expert on how to fight the effects of the common health risk.

  2. Many possibilities:

brushing too hard and across, ideal is brushing in circular motions.

eating acidic foods, lemons, orange juice.

stress, makes little herpes cold sores lesions on your gums.

change of tooth paste, allergic reaction.

Take a look at what you might of done in the past week, see a dentist if it gets worse.

  3. Well, assuming nobody did, I'm having to guess what you actually mean by this. If your gums just hurt, it could be a vitamin deficiency. If you're talking about texture (and shredded gums SUCK), then it could be advanced periodontitis (usually from not brushing). And if you just ate broken shards of glass, please let me suggest that those aren't good for your gums, and you very literally have the razor-blade-over-the-gums effect.
