Well crushed my ipod screen and now the screen doesn't work.It has like a big circle on the screen with black liquid on it. I can hear the music and play the next song, turn it on and off,but the screen is completely ruined. You can't read anything on it. It looks white with lines everywhere on it. What did I ruin on it? Can i fix it and if I do is it expensive? (oh i already know that warranty doesn't cover that)

  1. It'd probably be cheaper just to buy a new one.  Theoretically they could replace the screen, but its prob not worth it.  You could take it to an apple store to find out.

  2. hmm, i  dont know what exactlly you did too it, but somehting like that happend out of the blue to my ipod. i just had it sent out, and i dont think i paid anything....... just tell them, that all of the sudden it just cracked when you were listening to it, and they should cover it.

  3. http://www.ifixit.com sells LCD screen replacements for 30 bucks. They're a reliable company (I have bought replacement iPod parts from them a few times.) They have the instructions on their website.

It's cheaper than buying a new iPod.
