What's wrong with my kimchee?

I'm planning to make kimchee again, my first kimchee was not encouraging, the juice was kinda syrupy and i know there's something wrong. is it because i put philippine radish instead of korean? What's the difference?

  1. the flavor and textures. they may seem and look the same, but you want to stay with the radish it says. the philippine radish has a thicker juice. hope i helped!
