Question:

What's wrong with my left wrist?

My left wrist has been hurting for the past couple of days. I've noticed it hurting for about a month and a half now. It hurts off and on, but now it has been hurting for about forty-eight hours.

It is not swollen and does not hurt when you touch it. It only hurts when I bend my hand backwards or have to carry something. It twinges when I type.

Far as I know, I haven't smacked it or fallen on it.

Thanks in advance!

  1. It might be arthritis. Joint inflation. It also may just be sore from using it a whole lot (like when you are in track your ankles kill).  It could be the way you type or hold a pencil. Maybe you should review how to do it correctly  See your doctor for help.  Spicy food is said to help.

  2. sounds like it may be carpal tunnel syndromme...

    do this simple test:

put ur hands togetther plams aganist one another and slowly raise ur elbows so that ur wrists form a 90 degree angle if it causes u pain or tingling sensations then u most likley have carpal tunnel

they have braces at walmart or cvs that u can get  and wear, but if they do not help then u may need to look into surgery to reopen the tunnel and stop the nerve from pinching
