Question:

What's wrong with my teeth?

My canine tooth and the one beside it(toward the front) are both sore. There's a very very slight swelling of my gums around the teeth. There's not much more pain when I apply pressure to them, however it hurts a lot to apply pressure to my lower cheek right above the teeth.

Any ideas?

  1. I'm thinking either you scraped your gum while brushing or you have a popcorn kernel or something like it jammed between those two teeth. Try brushing and flossing gently, or just sucking right where those two teeth are to see if anything IS stuck there. It sounds gross, but it should help you. Good luck !

  2. I'm not a doctor or dentist but from my experience it sounds like you may have an infection in one or more teeth, or perhaps some periodontitis/gingivitis going on in the gums around those teeth.  If your symptoms persist, see a doctor or dentist.

  3. Try flossing it.... or ice it

  4. you have go a periodontal problem. You need to see the dentist before they start shaking & fall.

  5. you need a dentist and start brushing 2-3 times a day, floss, etc. Gum inflammation is the beginning of gingivitis which can lead to periodontal disease and cause the root of the teeth to die and you will lose your teeth
