I started brushing my teeth alot and I noticed my gum's were low on my teeth. And ever since I started to brush I've had a few sore spots in my mouth. Like for instace, my gum on my bottem set of teeth the eyetooth is really low and it hurt's if i touch it like it's a canker sore.

How do I get it to stop hurting and is it normal for it to do that since I'm brushing my teeth more now.

  1. Dont use a wire toothbrush. User a softer one.  I have the same problem.  I have compulsive brushing disorder (honestly) and I have brushed away the gum over one of my eye teeth.

Coming from someone who needs to take their own advice, lighten up on the scrub a dubs babe.  I will do the same in your honor :)

ALSO, try this.  use crest with scope the green kind, the eye watering action might slow you down on your compulsive brushing because the crest is so fabulous that it lasts longer than other brands.  White teeth are great.  Enamel makes them whiter years longer.

  2. It's most probably b/c your brushing too hard.

The sores will take probably a week to go away.

Start brushing your your teeth slower, I good brush should take 3-5 minutes
