What's wrong with our goldfish?

it's slowly turning white! some of the scales have completely lost their orange pigment - it's completely fine otherwise.

  1. Well if there is no fuzzy looking growths (fungi or bacteria) or white speckles (Ich) then it is completely natural. Goldfish change color over time and a lot of older fish end up completely white. Most of the time it is due to not getting sunshine. It is really common in common goldfish. : (

  4. Does it have spots or patches thatre white? Patches are fungus and spots are ick. So I would treat ick with a thing called quickcure.
