ITS NOT THAT ANYTHING IS WRONG WITH IT, BUT IT TAKES ALOT OF OIL TO MAKE PLASTIC MUCH MORE THAN NORMAL. IF WE IN THE USA RETURN TO ALUMINUM CANS AND GLASS BOTTLES, THEN IT WILL ALLOW MORE OIL FOR FUEL AND CUT THE AMOUNT WE BUY.

When plastic is recycled  its molecules get seperated from eachother and the quality of the plastic deteriorates with each recycling process.Therefore it is not preferred.

When you turn in plastic, there's less deposit (Since they need to be melted down). Plastic containers can't be re-used, so it's more expensive to re-cycle them.

Not enough people are responsible and do it. Recycled plastic is not melted down it is shredded and re processed into other products like decking boards etc. Glass and metals are melted to make new products.
