What's wrong with the A/C on my car?!?!?!?

'99 Dodge Stratus: It was only blowing when it was all the way on high and now it doesnt blow at all no matter what lever its on. however it will blow out a little gust every now and then when its all the way on high. Me and my friend put out cars up next to each other and noticed that that when he cranked his that the fan at the front of the hood started up but when i cranked mine that my fan didnt even move....PLEASE HELP!

Sound like a problem with your blower motor to me.  The fan in the front of the hood is mostly unrelated to the problem you are seeing.  That fan is used to cool the engine coolant (antifreeze) while it is running through your radiator.  The blower fan is a separate motor.  It's most likely a wiring issue, a bad fuse or a bad motor.  Since it runs periodically I would guess a loose wire.  I'm not positive where it's located on a Dodge, but some manufacturers place it under the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle, actually in the interior of the vehicle.  It could be that someone knocked the wire loose with their foot if that is the placement of the motor.  If you have a multi-meter, the connection should be simple to test.  Otherwise just jiggle the wires connected to the blower motor when the fan should be running and you may be able to determine the cause of your problem.

CHECK THE AIR CONDITIONERS  {AC} FUSE.

pull the owner's manual & get to work. if no problem ,check relay ,and the switch connection.     GOOD LUCK!!

Most likely your resistor on the blower motor is no good. First you would have to find the location of your blower motor.  (with the negative battery cable off) Get a multimeter and test the resistance on the motor. Check for a good connection, sometimes the connection gets loose. ( just buy another resistor, junk yard is cheaper) More than likely that is the problem.
