She looks really sickly almost like she has worms. She also looks like she has a bit of rain rot. I can't believe they would call her WELL BRED!

  1. Even the most expensive, well bred horse can turn to that if not maintained. Looks like she's been in a paddock for a while and left to run wild a bit! Probably a good reason she's so cheap.

  2. Aww..... poor thing. She looks underweight, and neglected.

  3. She may be well bred but she is not well maintained. Needs worming, feed and more feed. In a few months she will look good but she may have other problems. Be cautious.

  4. What you have to look at is the "horse". I know this sounds weird but if you can imagine her full and with out rain rot she would be a BEAUTIFUL horse! When a horse is well bred it shows in its blood lines not on the outside.

  5. She looks PREGENAT

  6. Yes this filly is in need of medical attention. She is still a very nice filly. She is doc o lena bred which is a very impressive line.

  7. 850 lbs for a 3 yr old is a little on the light side.  Poor coat condition can develop as a result of poor nutrition.  You can only guess from the pictures, but if I was thinking about looking at the horse I would wonder what the other horses look like.  If they were all thin it would just mean the people don't have a good feeding program or possibly a poor worming rotation.  If it was just her that looked that way I would be concerned about cushings, or a thyroid disorder.  But again - you can only guess looking at the pictures, and she just looks ugly.

  8. yeah she deffinatly hasnt been well groomed or even well cared for , its hard to say whats wrong with her . Because it looks like theres a lot of little things wrong . But the poor girl looks like shes been neglected.  :(

  9. I do not see rain rot. What I do see is a horse that need some good hay and fed. Needs to be roaming in a pasture and allowed to eat. She is either shedding out or having trouble shedding out which is caused by poor nutrient and or worms. They are asking $400. It sounds like a good price just by the picture alone and as long as there is no serious health problems. Food and wormer helps alot.

  10. buy it and find out what jack in the box is paying for thier meat!
