What's wrong with this non stick pan?

I've always fried food in a regular stick pan and when I put oil and tilt the pan around, the oil spreads and fills the whole pan. However I just bought a non stick pan and all the oil keeps going to one edge of the pan. What's the problem? i want to fill the whole pan.

  1. the answer is in the question........ being non stick means nothing sticks......not even the oil.

  2. one of two things either the pan is warped or you stove is not level.

perhaps adding more oil is an option, BUT please don't over fill and get burned or have a fire. keep baking soda and a pan lid that fits snug handy when deep fat frying. RETURN THE PAN to the store don't risk getting hurt and check you range for level as well.

    happy cooking

  3. There's nothing wrong. When you cook on a normal pan, it sticks to the pan. The oil goes to one age. It prevents some parts to stick to the pan.

  4. you want to fill a pan with oil ??? wow.

stop buying stuff made in China.

    use PAM.

  5. Its too hot.

  6. The pan is warped.

  7. Its the way they are designed. Instead brush a reasonable layer on with a clean brush or get a basting brush.
