What's you're opinion on Street Hockey?

Street Hockey is not as good as Ice Hockey, but you not you have to make some concessions when ice time is scarce and expensive. A Substitute, albeit a cheap one. Better than no hockey at all.

Nothing like ice hockey!

It's fine if you want to play in the summer with friends, but I prefer skating and the coolness of the ice rink whether it be summer or winter. Pucks do much better on ice rather than a street hockey puck or ball as we all know.

Oh i love street hockey! thats how i got started playing hockey! it taught me many skills that i now use on the ice! i think stree hockey is great!

When you play it too much with a ball instead of puck, the puck is hard to get used to when you go back.

When I got into playing hockey in 1974, there were very few ice rinks in the Philadelphia area and I could not afford to play there and believe me - I tried.

I played a lot of street hockey but as I got toward my twenties, I was playing less of it and more ice hockey. I was part of several teams and came very close to establishing a summer league along the southern New Jersey shore.

I think its a great sport, one that should continue to grow in organized leagues. And the parents should not be involved - they ruin it for EVERYONE.

personally i guess id rather see the kids playing street hockey tan getting into trouble but when they dont know how to get out of the way for people who are driving cars it can get annoying

Fun to play in the street in front of my best friend's house... We can never get enough people to play, though.

its fun. i play with my amigos all the time.

usually 3-on-3, first to 10.

one time, i got 7 goals in one game!! and im c**p compared to these guys. crazy!!!

love it mostly because I can't skate with a hockey stick, puck, and other people slamming into me.
