What's you favorite things to order when you go to a restuarant?

I like to get steak or seafood.

usually get the salad bar or buffet if we dont want to wait for the food to be cooked.

Either a fillet Mignon or a good piece of fish breaded with scallops. A good wine, and some pie a la mode.

Depends on the restaurant. I like to try new things, but I also have certain defaults that I tend to order a lot from certain restaurants.

As an appetizer I usually get stuffed mushrooms (Perry's has the best ever,) or bruschetta.

At seafood restaurants I almost always get fried oysters and shrimp. However, at Bubba Gump's, I like the super spicy sauteed shrimp with a side of rice. On Chesapeake Bay or at the Atlantic beaches I like the fresh oysters and lobster.

At Indian restaurants I usually get lamb vindaloo, pakoras and chana masala. Sometimes bindhi aloo.

At Chinese restaurants I like either minced chicken and pine nuts (hard to find,) or pork fried rice, and hot and sour soup.

In Mexican restaurants I like sliced beef fajitas or enchiladas, and chili relleno.

At the local Greek owned mixed cuisine restaurant, I usually get veal parmasagne and vegetables.

For breakfast, I get eggs over medium and sausage patties or marinated chicken, and hash browns.

At Olive Garden, I like the Chicken Scallopini.

At Macaroni Grill I like the chicken portobella with orzo pasta, artichoke and asparagus.

Otherwise... I generally go for dishes that contain chicken and veggies.

Depending on what restaurant I am at I have a favorite dish in all of them.  For example at Texas Roadhouse it has to be chicken fried steak, at El Conquistador it is a tamale dinner, and at Cheddar's I absolutely have to have some cheese sticks even if I don't want anything else they are a must.

seafood...i love them and it's good for your health too. I like homemade too...but I like to try new  things when I'm dining out.

Seafood!  Halibut and Mahi-mahi are my favorites.  When I visit my brother down South, I order things with crawfish, but we don't have crawfish on the West Coast.
