What's you take on Senator McCain's choice of Sarah Palin? Obama's chances? ?

I personally think she's weird. One: she's from, what a coincidence, Alaska???!!! ... But it's not that fact that intrigues me...Did you hear the names of her children??? Weird???!!!... And just her speech?? By the way, did they even show her husband?? She was talking about him and they didn't show his face or anything... Was he behind her???... Not to be sexist, but isn't she the first women to become the vice president nominee? ... Also, was McCain nervous standing next to her?

What do you think about her and their chances of winning...

Again, personally, I think Obama is going to win this Presidency. Just look at his supporters and his speeches and his claims. Their not weird. Actually, they look achievable to me. He's got both Clinton's and the governor of Virginia, I think. The DNC was a success! What do you think of his chances

Palin was a horrible choice.  She was chosen, very obviously, because she's a woman.  McCain ads have made a big deal about how they think Obama scorned Hillary.  Palin is a poor clinton substitute as they are on opposite sides of the fence on almost every single issue, the main one for women being abortion.  Palin is stronlgy pro-life, so I don't see a Clinton supporter going that way.  She's married to a gentlemen who is a BP oil big wig.  She's under investigation for ethics violations, pressuring a staff member to launch unneeded and inappropriate investigations to try and get her ex brother in law canned.  When he didn't do it, she fired the guy.  So I understand why the bushites would like her, as she has just about as much ethics as they do.  Plus, she loves playing her whole mother card, but a mother with 5 kids, one of them very recent, quickly accepting a VP nomination?  Somehow, I don't think her kids are the main thing she's focusing on.  Not to mention, during her gubernatorial election, during which i lived in alaska, she tried playing her involved soccer mom card, but was unable to tell anybody the name of her child's soccer team.  Now, my mom remembers the name of the tee ball team I played on, and that was 20 some years ago.  What does that say about how involved this "soccer mom" when she doesn't know her child's CURRENT team name.  She's a fake, and is basically a ploy.  She's easy on the eyes, and I think they're counting on Obama and company "looking mean" at attacking her.  Oh yeah, and by the way, she has even less experience than Obama does.
