What's your History of your community of your community?

I live near an old fishing village.  Cortez, Florida  is one of the only working fishing villages still around.

I'm the only white person to ever live here in this part of Floyd County, Virginia. It's a small chunk of wilderness overlooked by civilized people. I carry a 10mm Glock outside in case a wild animal attacks. There are lions and coyotes and bears out there. I have to protect my chickens and my garden.

My dogs help and I pray a lot...
