What's your best arachnaphobia story?

My sister has arachnaphobia, and is always doing something hilarious. I just want to know if that's normal, so if you could tell me some of the best arachnaphobia stories you've experienced, or someone you know has experienced that would be great.

I HATE SPIDERS.   A good example is as follows... I was 8 months pregnant, its 3am and I wake up and KNOW there is a spider in my room...I turn on the light, look up and see millions (ok lots) of those buggers crawling across my ceiling... I freak out and attempt to wake my husband who does nothing but go back to sleep.  So there I was  3am 8months pregnant jumping off the four corners of my bed and dressers and aiming at those buggers on my ceiling.  Thankfully I got them all (all that i could see anyway) and was able to get back to sleep (after a swift kick to the hubby)

My dad once had a pet tarantula. He took it to his office one day and put it on his tie, and it just stayed there and didn't move. He freaked out a lot of people that day! The bad part was when the tarantula got tired of hanging on the tie, it jumped off, ran, fell off his desk, hit the floor and sort of exploded. There were like 1000 eggs we never knew it had inside it that ended up exploded all over the floor. Ewwww...

Shucks, mine is hilarious.One morning I woke up ravenous. I decided to fix some frozen waffles while waiting for breakfast (which I was preparing). I had taken them out of the toaster, poured syrup on them and had started to eat them, all while watching what I was cooking. I bit down and felt something funny, so I looked and   half a grand daddy long legs leg was in my waffle  I simply removed the rest and continued to eat.

in the middle of the night I thought that there was a spider on my cheek so i started smacking my self really hard for a long time until I realized that it was my blindfold.  Then in the morning my whole face was purple and lumpy.
