It really depends on how things move in the next month.  Anything can happen.  My best guess is that, lacking any major rise of tensions, it will drop another $10.00.

It really is to bad that most people have no understanding of what they see in the media.

The price you quote for June 23rd is not the price of oil on that day, but a guess at what the price will be in September. It is called an oil future. The price in September may be lower or higher. Commodity traders try to guess what conditions will be at some point in the future and bid accordingly. The prices in September will be guesses about the costs in December. That's why their called futures.

If your really concerned about these things educate yourself a little.

All things being equal (which they never are) the price in September should be down slightly. I think the price will settle at $3.60- $3.70 per gallon at the pump. Anything below that is wishful thinking.

Warning Commodity trading/forecasting is very dangerous. 80% of the people that invest in commodity futures loose their a**. The people that bid $147.00 a couple of weeks ago already have.

Two hundred and fifty ($250.00) a month. I multiplied two barrel of oil $127.00 for one month. That best guess I had. Hopes this helps you out.
