Well, I try to exercise, in myself, those qualities I admore most in other people and I would have to place understanding, tolerance and empathy at the top of that list.

How well I succeed in absorbing and reflecting these qualities, I am not sure, but I DO try to gage my own attitudes and behavior by what I admire and value in others, and I have noticed that people seem to react to me the way I would react to someone else who I felt had these attributes.

Basically, I try to GIVE whatever I would WANT to GET out of a situation.

In my opinion? My old fashioned and romantic nature, which my fiancée also admires very much. I don't take the credit for the quality, I put it down to some pretty deep experiences.
