What's your concrete political engagement?

This is a worldwide civic participation thread. But nobody seems to do concrete political work. I can find only useless opinions and statements about politicians.

If you live in a democratic country: What's your concrete allday political work? Tomorrow, next week, next month?

What can you do, if you live in a non-democratic country?

I live in a democracy, so my political interest lies in a desire to educate myself before I vote.  Beyond that, I don't really care to be civically active.
