What's your definition of "mansion?"?

Is it always someone else's home, or can it be your home? Do people who live in what you define as a mansion define their own homes as mansions?

I thought "maison" was house in French.

In the words of Jesus, "My father's House has many mansions."

Father can be referred to with the prefix, "Di.."

So, Di.. mansion means dimensions. God's house is made of many dimensions.
