  1. I was taking Effexor along with Wellbutrin for a few years.  It was helpful.  Eventually it stopped working as well so my doctor prescribed Cymbalta.  These types of medications tend to stop working after a while.  The good news is there are many more good ones to try when this does happen.  Keep working closely with your doctor.  Good Luck.
