What's your favorite Japanese food?

I love Japanese food, probably because I like seafood. My favorite thing is unagi or fresh water eel. What about you guys.

1) LOVE SASHIMI!!! ( any part of the fish / seafood)

to me this is the best way to eat the raw fish without the rice (to make you full)...

2) Japanese BEEF( inventor of the marble beef) ...... heavenly sinful..

my favorite japanese foods are onigiri, ramen and sushi!! they are all delicious... i love japanese foods cause i like the country japan!! i really want to go there and see all the anime lover.. i'm dreaming to be a japanese girl...

I love onigiri! I always buy some whenever I go food shopping, even if it is a little expensive. OH AND YAKISOBA!!! And if I can't afford to buy anything else, Ramen definitely does the job! lol! ^_^

Mochi(a big, soft puffy rice cake that is roasted) with seaweed and soy sauce.

Hard to choose.

I like so many Japanese dishes (and there are many more I still have to try) but one thing that can never fail with me is yakitori.

tuna and blue marlin sashimi

all the while, i thought that  blue marlin is not eatable as sahimi, i was wrong, when i tasted it, it tastes better than tuna.

Unagi is good, but bad unagi can scar the palate.  I love the dragon roll myself.
