What's your favorite Olympic moment so far in the Beijing 2008 games?

With the Olympics more than halfway complete, what have been the most memorable moments of the games thus far?

michael phelps winning his 8th gold medal, when he won his 7th gold by one one hundreth of a second, the relay race where jason lezak made an incredible comeback to help the us win gold and when nastia and shawn won gold and silver in the all around comp. GO USA

nope that's it. phelps win by a finger tip or finger nail. and lightening Bolts 100 meter dash, I hated that he is so cocky. I'll be glad when someone comes around and put him in his place. the basketball is fun but its not really a game at all, we are wiping the floor with those other countries same with baseball. american has the most medals to date. go USA! I want to send Phelps 8 gold fish as a gift to represent his fish like speed in the water and 8 gold medals.

Being Australian mine was Stephanie Rice winning 3/3 gold medals and breaking 3 World Records.

dana torris  not only because is  she is 42 and competing with 16 and 17 year olds, but she is maybe the athlete with the most sportsmanship. the reeason i say this is because once she saw that her competing racer was having problems with her suit so she went to the judge and asked her if they could wait for her. it was truley inspiring. also she then went on to win silver in the competation

shawn johnson and nastia liukin winning all their medals and the usa womens gymnastics team winning silver...even tho they should have gotten gold. and tonight shawn and nastia are going to win more!!!!

As a Chinese fan and a badminton and table tennis fan, my favorite moments have definitely been the four gold medals China has won from those two events combined, and hopefully they'll win more from table tennis, but the most surprising gold medals have definitely been Zhang Juan Juan's gold in archery and Qiu Jian's gold in the 50m rifle after the American shot a 4.4 on the last competition shot.

But that could definitely change if Liu Xiang wins the 110m hurdles.
