  1. My first reading as a kid was Podkayne of Mars.

My fave is still Stranger in a Strange Land... Yes, I grok.

And BTW, I just finished Variable Star last night. A posthumous collaboration... RAH wrote an outline and some notes, and 50 years later, Spider Robinson finished it! WOW!!! I love both these guys.

For any fans that havent seen this yet, it was sitting in paperback on a bookshelf under R for Robinson, just like an ordinary book. THERE IS A NEW HEINLEIN NOVEL, PEOPLE!!!

  2. Starship Troopers, easily.  The book was a masterpiece, not the abomination of a movie that it became.

  3. The Moon is a Harsh Mistress

On the surface you have the the action of a revolutionary cabal throwing off an oppressive Earth.  Underneath you have an interesting exploration of social mores, AI, and the hard science necessary for an Earth & Moon system of commerce.

Of the juvenile novels, I always liked Citizen of the Galaxy the best.

  4. Starship troopers. It was just a great all around novel that I enjoyed reading.

  5. SUPER SOK

  6. Stangers in a Strange Land.  I read it in college and the book was sick on religion, politics and moral relativism.

  7. Stranger in a Strange Land.  You Grok!?

  8. My favorite is Have Spacesuit --Will Travel. I like the characters and the message that you need to take responsibility for your own education.

  9. Either Stranger In a Strange Land or Time Enough For Love
