hendrix - the best of jimi - cuz its got all the classics - purple haze

led - song remains the same - bunch a greay songs - stairway

the who - pinball wizard - i just really like that song

pink floyd - dark side of the moon - its just awesome - money (love the begining)

HENDRIX- Are You Experienced?  I'm all about solid songs not experimentation. And while Jimi did SOME decent blues songs I don't think it was his forte. I think cut for cut AYE? is the band's strongest album. "Purple Haze"

LED ZEPPELIN- I tend not to think of them in terms of "albums" because I just bought the box sets so I have all their music that way. But choosing based on a "I like most of the songs" basis, I'd go with IV. "When the Levee Breaks"

THE WHO- I've only heard 4 albums by them so I'm far from an expert but right now it's WHO'S NEXT. Just a really solid album song for song. "Baba O'Riley"

THE DOORS- At this point, I've only heard THE DOORS and L.A. WOMAN (and the 2CD best of) but I favor THE DOORS right now. "Break on Through" is my favorite from the Doors but I'd say my favorite Doors song is "Riders on the Storm" which is on the other album. :)

PINK FLOYD- Again, haven't heard their entire catalogue yet but it's DARK SIDE OF THE MOON for consistency of the listening experience. "Money" is my fave from DARK SIDE but "Comfortably Numb" is actually my fave Floyd track overall.
