  1. Torremolinos (near to Marbella)

  2. A place called Mojacar on the south-East coast. It has a beach front running for a mile or two and a very long beach. It is not suitable for yobs! The best bit is the 'old town' perched up on the side of the mountain behind the town. There, it is all cute, white buildings and the atmosphere in the evenings is great. Wander round the tiny alleys / shops and have a meal on the roof terrace of the restaurant in the little square. You can eat your meal out in the warm evening air and watch the sun go down over a huge plain. It's awesome. Photo opportunity par excellence! (ps: if I go there and find 5,000 tourists waiting for a table, I'll only have myself to blame!)

  3. Anywhere along the Costa Brava (Catalunya).  Tossa de Mar, Cadaques, Cap de Creu (the easternmost point in continental Spain), etc.  Avoid Lloret de Mar unless you're in to being around mostly non-Spanish people.

  4. Travel to Spain Barcelona as it now has every leisure and sports facility possible since 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. see http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/places/barcelo...

  5. the best place to be is Rota, Spain small city but cozy the locals are awesome you need to get to the Andalucia Airport and they will take you there:-)

  6. Barcelona baby!!!  Well not right in the city unless you are a city person.  But just South there are some cool beachside resorts.  Then you have all the history, shopping, nightlife of a major city that sits on a pristine beach.  So much to see in there that I have been there several times a year since 1998 and still find things I have not done or seen.

  7. I live in Spain in a little place called Javea (Xabia).  They say it is the 'Jewel in the Crown' of the Costa Blanca.  The World Health Organisation states that it has the best climate in the world.  Javea is a very pretty Spanish resort.  It has a sandy beach and crystal clear turquoise sea.  There are bars and restaurants and only 3 nightclubs.  Life here is very tranquil.  The people are friendly.  It is not widely advertised in travel agents, so we don't have thousands of holiday makers in the summer.  (I don't think they have discovered it yet and I hope they don't).  I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is, but I don't want to bore you and besides which I am biased.  I have truly found my piece of paradise.  Wherever you choose to holiday I hope you have a good time.

  8. Alicante is ok. Cadiz too (in the summer).

Canary Islands are great for beaches.

  9. Alicante

  10. Costa del Sol. Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Marbella, Fuengirola, Almeria.....all great places to spend a vacation.

  11. barcelona

  12. I've only been to Tenerife, but it was great, Santiago, & Los Gigantese
