ruffled chips with old fashioned french onion and sour cream dip.  Wash that down with a good micro-brewed beer.

Well, chocolate is always a favorite, but for me, comfort foods are usually warm and soothing and home-ey... usually something we ate when I was a child...

Like:

a perfect grilled cheese sandwich, you know, with the bread just golden toasty and the cheese just perfectly melty and gooey, but not completely liquidy

top ramen noodle soup

oooh! cinnamon toast!

or Oreos dipped in milk!
