I like the 40s and the early 50s.  That was before Elvis Presley and rock music.  Performers back then could sing without wiggling all over the stage.   I am being charitable,I could call it some bad names.

The 1970's! Life was a blast coming out of the '60's! People were implementing the social thoughts and actions from the decade before; funky fashions & designs; great music & artists; arena concerts; people were open to each other & nicer; partying-- partying!

The 60's.  Things were great; inflation (the real and the "official") was low; employment was high; there were good roads, TV, radio...Life was easy, not too much hassles, people were much more honest (didn't need to lock your doors), the Government was not so dictatorial...

PIECE OF CAKE--- The 1970's  GOOD music, GOOD times, Good money made (when gas was CHEAP). Anything after 1990 sucks, in my opinion...
