  1. Any course having HIGH hills, and lots of well-constructed and interesting hazards.

  2. Tough to pick just one - how about a top 5?

    Bull Valley - McHenry Illinois

    Blackstone CC - Peoria, Az

Player Course - Geneva National, Wi

    Oxmoor Valley - Birmingham, Al

Arboretum Club - Buffalo Grove, Il

  3. Doral In Miami...Either Blue Monster or The Great White coarse is great to play...expensive but great!!

  4. My favorite to date is Falcon Ridge Golf Course in West Tennessee.  I played there once a week at least while I was living in Jackson - so far it's one of the more challenging I've ever played.

  5. Pine Valley in New Jersey is in a class by itself.  I've played there 3 times and it is the most interesting course (architecturally) that I have played.

Cypress Point, Pebble Beach, Olympic Club and San Francisco Golf Club all in California are pretty good as well.

  6. favorite courses I want to play - TPC Sawgrass, Pebble Beach, Oakmont

favorite course I have actually played - Harbour Town

  7. My favorite big named courses are:

    Augusta National & Pebble Beach

    Louisiana Courses:

Le Triomphe - Broussard, La. Home of a Nation Wide Event

TPC New Orleans - PGA Tour Event

Gray Plantation - Lake Charles, La.

All the Casino Courses - Well maintained/designed and great service

  8. Up-State New York - The Links at Hiawatha Landing. Public course, cheap($44 to $50), well groomed, and difficult from the wrong tees.

  9. I like Champion's Run in Rockvale, TN.

  10. Augusta National - I dream to play there one day!  As for my favorite played, I would say La Cantera in San Antonio, Texas.

  11. The one I have been a member of for the past 30 years. Everything is right in front of the player, no tricks, large greens, adequately bunkered to catch wild shots, adequate woods to punish very wayward shots, variable length holes so that one uses more than drive, short iron and challenging enough that the best state amateur's lowest score ever was 4 under for 18 holes and 1 under for 36.

  12. The Wellman Club in Johnsonville, S. C.  It  is about 40 miles inland from Myrtle Beach.  It is the best conditioned course I have ever played.  The tees are better than most greens, the fairways are beautiful, the rough is very punishing, and the greens are like greased glass, but will hold a well struck approach shot.  I have hit short irons into the green that has backed up about 20 feet.

  13. Pacific Dunes

  14. claremont golf  course

  15. Callipe preserve in Pleasanton ca

  16. Cypress point...You can find pics on line of the last four holes....saddly I only caddied it.However I have played Butler National and it was great fun. Really my favorite course is the one I'm playing that day.

  17. well my fave that I have played is EagleSticks, the ones I would kill to play at our Pebble beach, TPC Sawgrass, and Pinehurst any number

  18. Well, there are many courses I love, The Quarry, The Resort Course at La Cantera , and the Palmer Course at La Cantera in San Antonio,Texas. Knowing I cannot play some of the top rated courses around the country I love Tour Eighteen in Humble,Texas.  This is a replica course of the eighteen most famous holes in American golf. # 1 Harbour Town #18,  which is the # 1 handicap, # 2 Bay Hill # 6, 5,6,and 7 Augusta Amen corner, # 9, Sawgras #17. The concept is to play inside the ropes and get the feel of what the pros experience. We love to see players of all skill levels come and have a great time and fall in love with the game all over again. Oh, by the way the finishing hole is Doral # 18 "the Blue Monster". This course is so accurate it had to defend itself in court for copyright infrengements .
