What's your favorite health insurance agency?

I have Blue Shield, but was considering switching to Kaiser. I just got married and I'm looking for a package for my wife and I. We're in our fifties and are both in good health. My wife lived 36 years in Paris and says Kaiser is the closest to the French health care system. My friends rave about it.

Coming from Europe 30 years ago I prefer ALLIANZ AUS.

A good bet is a local package like :

Medicare Private,

Or Nib (from $9.95/wk).

I'm fond of The Blues (Blue Cross Blue Shield) myself. The majority of my clients have their insurance.

However, here in Michigan, they are a Non-Profit insurer and hence an "insurer of last resort". They don't medically underwrite meaning that they accept anyone regardless of Medical History and they do not adversely rate based upon a person's Health Status.
