Go to the Isle of Spice and find out for yourself, best island in the Caribbean!

  17. Puerto Rico...why?  I would probably never finish telling you.  Is just so breath taking when you really take time to explore it.  Most people go to Old San Juan...and although is gorgeous, it gives a wrong impression of the island...going to the caverns on Camuy, or even going to check las tetas de Cayey (Cayey ****), or one of our 4 bioluminecent lagoons, visiting the little island of Viequez and Culebra...or visiting the Lago Caonillas in Utuado.  If you plan it well you can even go when there is the season of the guiro plant...and you can always check our Fiestas Patronales.  You can go to the Dia Nacional de la Salsa (National Salsa Day) and dance your day away on the sandy beach, or you can visit when the Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastian are on fire!  There is nothing better than to eat some lechon a la vara (roasted pig stuck on a stick), arroz con gandules(rice with pigeon peas), guineitos al escabeche (pickled green bananas), and of course a Medalla (beer) to complete your meal.  And you can always go to Isla de Cabra to get a view of Old San Juan like no other...with El Morro as your biggest view.

In summary...Puerto Rico is "la isla del encanto" (the enchanted island"
