What's your favorite makeup brand and why?

Also if you have any suggestion on what makeup/makeup brand I should use please help :]

I have dark brown hair, smallish brown eyes, oily combination skin, meduim skin tone and mild acne

my favorite makeup brand is definatly clinique. i love it because it feels so light on your face, like your hardly wearing any makeup. also it never irritates or breaks out my skin, so i hardly ever get any blemishes. i highly recomend this brand of makeup, it's 100% fragrance free and allergy tested. plus it's really good for your skin! i use superbalanced foundation, and their pressed powder. it makes your skin look really nice.

Considering you have mild acne I would also use neutrogena. I suggest the wave because it has a gently vibration which cleans out all of your pores!

BARE MINERALS!!!! definately for u...it will help clear up the mild acne that u have! and it has nice coverage but looks VERY natural when u apply it...plus it makes ur skin less oily! its done a lot for me!!

Some might suggest that the more expensive the brand of make up, the better quality, however I think it's fun to experiment with a lot of different brands and have been doing so for the past 15 years. It is rare that I stick with the same brand for more than 3 months but I have found the following types/brands to be fail-safe for me personally: Maybeline mascara (lash extension), maybeline color-stay lip color, Sally Hanson lip gloss, Revlon color-stay lip liner (wet or crayon), Beauti Control foundation and skincare. I like the BeautiControl brand because it has been the only thing that has helped me tame my acne and unpredictably oily skin. It seems that if I am faithful to take care of my skin each day with it, my makeup always looks great. I however, have not found a tried and true brand for blush and eyeshadow, perhaps because it is so diverse. I do enjoy the Mac brand eyeshadow because of the color diversity and saturation but it tends to get pricey when you want to change your color each day. Right now, I am using the revlon color stay eye shadows, which are great except that they are limited in their color variety.  As for blush, I have recently enjoyed the Bare Minerals. They are practically goof proof with the application, however I get a little bored with the ease of the process! Good Luck!

I would suggest MAC, becuase the colors are very pigmented, they have many different products to choose from, and they are great quality. But, it is a bit on the pricy side. For drugstore brands, I would suggest NYX (if you have Rite-Aid, i think they sell it there, or you can buy their products of their website nyxcosmetics.com). Other brands like Milani, Jesse's Girl, and Cover Girl are good too.

I use Nuetrogena or Almay Foundation and powder and I love it! I have rosacea and have tried just about everything and those were the only two that didn't make me break out. I also use mabelline eye makeup.

Try going with brown or gold for the eyes and mauve colors for lips.

Well my fav makeup brand is Benefit...cos their products are v cool & different, even tho its expensive but its worth it in my opinion as they go on rely well & last all day... i defo recommend their products,

...especially the 'hollywood glow' they make, its a face highlighting liquid that makes your skin shimmery & dewy, apply it on your cheekbones & you should suit it as we look v alike by the looks of things! (;
