What's your favorite non-hockey team?

Question

Just curious if you follow another sport besides hockey and what your favorite team is in that sport. And to keep it hockey related, what is your favorite hockey team followed by your favorite non hockey team.

Favorite hockey team is the Sabres. The only other team sport I watch is Lacross and I like Buffalo's team as well. The only other sport I really follow is gymnastics...cause I'm girly.

Hockey is the only sport I actually like. Baseball bores me to death unless im wasted, football doesn't move fast enough, basketball they score like every 10 seconds so I get bored quickly if I bother, soccer they kick the ball down the whole field, someone kicks it back...thats like the whole game.

I am a die hard devils fan though

and I will watch gymnastics when its on and ill watch a few sports in the olympics. Even the xgames are ok because they are also sports that take actual talent.

Being a Leafs fan, I'm a Raptors' bandwagoner (but I keep my mouth shut on all ignorant things...unlike some other wagoners). I'm also looking forward to the Celtics/Lakers Final coming up. I want the Celtics to win because, not only can they beat the Lakers, but have someone else take the title who doesn't have the name Duncan, Shaq, or Kobe. Those names are just getting boring, plus, it's always the West to ends up winning it. However, I think Garnett, Allen, and the other Celtics are going to have the same effect in coming years....

Rangers fan... my 2nd team is the Yankees.

Then, a distant third, I root for both the Jets and Giants.  And I actively avoid watching basketball.

NY generally has party lines when it comes to sports... it's Yankees/Rangers/Knicks/Giants, and Mets/Jets/Nets/Isles. (or devils I guess, but I'm from LI, so that's what I experienced).  There are some people that cross party lines (My dad, for example, is a big Rangers and Giants fan, but likes the Mets), but this seems to be the typical way it pans out in NY.

Though most Mets fans were Brooklyn Dodgers fans (or their parents were), and when the Dodgers left town, they just could not root for the yankees, due to the rivalry.  So, they became Mets fans.
