What's your favorite non-touristy place to hang out in Mexico?

And what do you do there besides nothing and getting drunk? I like to go to Chihuahua and just hang out. I got a girlfriend and couple of kids there.

Pie de la Cuesta. 30 minutes north of Acapulco. Totally deserted beach that goes on for miles. Fresh water lagoon for my boat and jet ski. Flat , no NOISE pollution. No tourists - hel , NO BODY !

Waves, 20 feet average with some rouge 30 footers !   Incredible place to just drink a few Coronas and take the dog for a walk and then get lunch and do it again.

Well, I enjoy driving down to Melaque from Puerto Vallarta, great beach and very quiet but I'm not looking for a place to party.   I actually have another little place that is my absolute favorite place to enjoy the beach and sun but I'm not giving out the name, my private little paradise.  I will say that it is between PV and Melaque..

I just got back from Mazatlan. New Mazatlan is very touristy, but if you hit up Old Mazatlan its much more personal, and a way better taste of the people and the city. There's a lot to do out there too, and a lot to see.
