What's your favorite novel?

I want to go book shopping and I need some ideas. I'm 18 years old and I LOVE books that can relate to my life. I'm interested in ANYTHING, not just what is similar to my lifestyle. What are some of YOUR favorite novels?

How Few Remain - Harry Turtledove

Alternate version of the US civil war... in that it hasn't ended yet it's the first part of the timeline-191 series. Very well writern adult style books that you can just lose yourself in.

The hiding place by Corrie Tin Boone not sure how to spell the author's name but its a real good book, it's also  non foctional. I was in the 8 th grade when I had to read this book and it still has a place in my heart and memory. The Hiding Place
