  1. Luxembourg Gardens or the Parc Floral, near Vincennes

  2. The Luxembourg Gardens.

Its pleasant place to hang out on a sunny day and those metal chairs that are scattered around are surprisingly comfrotable.

The fact that there are a lot of attractive young college girls sunning themselves doesn't hurt either.

  3. on a blanket partying with a bottle of wine under the Eiffel Tower in the evening when it is lit up.

  4. Sitting on the steps of the magnificent Madeleine monument, in the Place de la Madeleine, looking down the Rue Royale at the fountains in Place de la Concorde, beyond which is the river Seine, and then the equally splendid National Assembly building.

To the right, you can see the gold-dusted roof of Les Invalides, the final resting place of one Napoleon Bonaparte.

    And it's all completely free..

  5. The Bois de Vincennes are nice when you're in the mood for a time out from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's a nice place to simply go for a walk/ride a bike/roller-blade, etc, and it doesn't have the dubiously seedy reputation that certain parts of the Bois de Boulogne have.
