What's your favorite thing about nascar?

I like the racing first.  The loudness of the cars and the tingly feeling they bring to mewhen they go fast or even just start up.

I like the pit crews working together with the driver and how that relationship, if established well, contributes to some awesome racing and real fast pit stop in adding to less confusion.

My favorite thing is the feeling of 100,000 + true, genuine Americans gathered together celebrating and watching an American true sport.

The complexity of the cars. The strategy. The racers desire. The close finishes.Pit stops. The big one. The points. Mostly the 17 car and before him the 3 car.

my favorite part of the race is when the driver is in winners circle and he is getting interviewed, it looks like he has a womans head growing out of his shoulder, and then you notice it's the Sprint lady standing behind the driver nodding and smiling to everything he says like he has a siamese twin conceived from the CEO of the Sprint corporation, and she just wants some recognition for winning the race too. Oh wait... you said "my favorite thing?"

Nothing like sitting in the stands or on top of the motor home on a Friday or Saturday at Daytona or Homestead watching practice with palm trees in the background, the seagulls cawing, sun shining down on me, a cold Budweiser in hand listening to my scanner and not giving a  flying c**p about anything else in the world.  Somtimes I think that's better then the race.      Ahhhh!     I have issues.

Everything!! Nascar is nothing like "back in the day", but so far they haven't screwed up enough that I will quit watching/attending the races.

I love actually being at the track and experiencing the whole atmosphere. The speed, crashes, noise from the cars, cheering on your favorite driver - it's such an adrenaline rush.
