err, I love palak paneer, but it is not tofu, it is a tofu like dairy product, made from cottage cheese, though in a more solid form. it's not vegan but it's veggie.

  1. veggie biryani

  2. veggie lasagna and black bean burgers

  3. hmm.. hard to answer... at home...

    guess my pasta recipe..

with lots of tomatoes... black olives... mushrooms.. basil/parsley...   and finely chopped spinach

if im dinning out.. i like mixed veggie soup.. then a couple veggie meats

  4. Caprese, an Italian dish, is hard to beat. Bufala mozzarella (not the cow milk version), sliced, with sliced tomatoes, chopped basil, olive oil, and sometimes a faint drizzle of balsamic vinegar.  The ingredients should all be at room temperature, not chilled, not cool.

The key is good ingredients, so best quality mozzarella, and proper tomatoes, not those cheap supermarket things that taste like moist polystyrene. Never, never, never underspend on tomatoes. The aromatic scent of basil is intoxicating, and the whole combination is simply ravishing.

This dish is so easy to make; there's no cooking at all, and its colours -- those of the Italian flag -- transport me back to late afternoons in Tuscany with the countryside bathed in deep auburn sunshine.

Any Italian wine will match, but Chianti or Valpolicella are my preferred glasses.

  5. my mums cauliflower cheese:)

  6. spinache ravioli

  7. Palak Paneer....

its an Indian dish consisting of palak (spinach) and paneer (tofu) with spices....

  8. quorn do a really nice shephards pie which is luch with crusty bread

um a company called cauldron do four bean canneloni again which is really nice

for dinner parties a good one is a whole camebert in the oven for 45 min it goes also melted and squishy and you dip bread in it...

but the best veggie dinner for me is either fresh tomato soup or a ceaser salad ...

  9. I'm on a smart dog kick right now.  We only have them once-a-week so I have to wait until next week.  I like mine with ketchup and mustard on nice hot dog rolls.

They are good with vegetarian baked beans, but right now I just want a couple of smart dogs!

If you have never had them you should try them.  From the refrigerator you put them into a greased super hot pan.  I use EVOO.  They aren't round on the edges.  There's more like 5 edges.  All you have to do is let the casing get bubbly and turn them until all of the edges are bubbly.

In the beginning they were a little hard to get used to.  I had to load them up with toppings.  After about 4 or 5 times of eating them though they taste great.

They are a good summer dinner and I think you could grill them.  It's really nice that we actually know what's in them too.  Regular hotdogs can have pretty much anything in them and it just falls under natural flavoring.

Smart dogs are yet another faux meat that help meat eaters become accustomed to a vegetarian diet.  I love them!
