The Terminal. Its my favourite movie-period.

Castaway - The scene where he's sitting in his friend's living room after he's lost his love the 2nd time and he's still wet from the rain and the camera does a 360 around him while he unloads his longest single speech in the whole film.....Tom Hanks best acting ever! That scenes brings tears to my eyes every time...and I've seen the movie at least 5 or 6 times.

Oh my gosh! I love Tom Hanks he is my favorite actor. There are too many good movies to name, but here are a few of my favs:

Toy Story 1 and 2

Forrest Gump

Turner and Hooch

Sleepless in Seattle and etc....

Let me think for a minute...

I've narrowed it down to:

Dragnet, Turner and Hooch, The 'Burbs, A League of their Own, Forest Gump, both Toy Story movies (I hear there's a third on the way...), The Road to Perdition, The Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan, The DaVinci Code, and Catch Me if You Can.

Okay.  I've got it.  Forest Gump just barely nudged out Catch Me if You Can.  

That was a hard choice.  Tom Hanks has such a range, and plays his characters so well.  

Also, it looks like I'm going to have to try tracking down a copy of Mazes and Monsters (1982, made for TV movie, later released on video).  I liked the book, but had no idea it had been made into a movie

Tom Hanks has so many great movies... If I had to choose, it would be BIG, The Terminal, and Forret Gump. Three great films.

Of course Toy Story I and II would be in my list of top Hanks films.

But he really is just an amazing actor
