And what is you follow through: over the shoulders or across the shoulders.

No grip is better than the other. and point of contacts change with your grip.

Also why are all these things your favorite?

  1. You sound very similar to me

I use a western gripped one handed forehand and a 2 handed continental background. I use these grips because I like to hit with heavy topspin and this lets me get the best combination of power and spin.

For serve I always go with the flat power serve on the first and try to use a kick serve on the second although its not exactly an atp second serve yet.

When striking the ball, I always try to take it early while moving into it to get more pace and give less time for my opponent to react/recover.

  2. I always prefer 2 handfuls

  3. I play with an eastern forehand grip and a one handed eastern backhand grip.  Favorite point of contact is just a little in front of me.  My follow through is just above my shoulder.  I play with these grips because they are comfortable for me.  Also my coach taught me to use these grips when I was a teenager.  Since then, I haven't changed my style of play for over 15 years :)
