Heard this name today used for a little girl, spelling is approximate:

Alexannah

I don't think I like it and wouldn't consider using it for my own child but it's growing on me. Universe what's your opinion of this name?

  1. I like it, lots. I must say i do prefer unusual names, and seeing as i like both names (hannah and alex), mixing them works for me!!


  2. Its an okay name the cool thing about it is that its, a not very common name. which boosts the cool factor♥ Alexanna looks better.

  4. It's extremely stupid. I hate seeing little kids walking around with their parent's "creativity". I really think there should be a law banning any name that was created soley by the parents untill the person is over 18.

    If someone wants to name their child Rosenbalrgonaopitonmoonlight let that child change the name once they are 18.

  5. I've never heard it before but its not bad. Its one of those combo names everyone's so fond of these days. But if you like it, then thats really all that matters.

  12. Hmm interesting but... I don't think that a kid would like that name just like naming someone Gertrude. Alexannah would be really attractive and cool on someone when theu get old enough were people start thinking of them like that!

  18. I LIKE it...It sounds so pretty and different. Some people want to have unique names and they just sound so dumb. But this one is not that bad and it is pretty different.  

  19. it is definitely unique. but names like that probably come from a mix of names. possibly the girls father's name is alexander and the mother is hannah making it alexannah. that's my opinion.

    i think its a cool name tho.

  29. Well I have heard that name pretty often the name Alexannah is a girls from of Alexander the names origin comes from Greece.. It means to aid or to help..

    When picking a child's name you should look at the origins and the meaning.. Personally I think its a great name..

    Like my sister her middles name is middle name is mirrìclè which means miracle in french..  

  30. I like it but would spell it differently, llike Alexana. The "h" at the end makes it a little trashy.
