What's your opinion on 'good' poems that make no sense at all (such as this one...)?

I've seen alot of these so-called 'contemporary' poems like the one I made above, seriously, how can these c**p (excuse my language) be considered poetry?

I don't know, I don't think it is. I mean, seriously. I think it's kind of childish.

Sometimes I wonder if people tend to like contemporary poetry or art because they want to seem more intelligent by "understanding" how "deep" they are.

With that said, I like to think that if you honestly do get something out of it than it can be considered an art form and poetry. It all depends on personal taste.

Personally I'm not a fan of the majority of any poetry. Or abstract art. :S

Relax man poetry and art is an expression of the heart, it has a meaning within a meaning. Everyone has different tastes. Everything you like is not what others like. I just think sometimes people don't want people to understand what they are saying so they hide it in what words would mean to them.

We are not required to like everything that is called art, thankfully...

my opinion and I am aware that everyone has one...

I find them lazy and pretentious as a poem should contain some rhythm and that type of excuse for poetry only jars my brain.
