  1. I think hes a sharp businessman, and ya, hes funny.

  2. Great TV

Great restaurants (done 3 so far, all brilliant)

Got to admire the guy for his talent - culinary and financial

  3. Well...  HE does 'his' THING...

    I do 'MY' thing...  WHY-COME 'I" can't make HIS '$$$$'???

The SHAME is that "I" KNOW...  No one esle DOES..  How do "I" get the 'exposure' to put HIM in the 'crust'???

  4. He's a very astute businessman who has developed a watchable tv format.

I really enjoy 'Kitchen Nightmares' because it's about real people in real restaurants and the problems and opportunities Ramsay points out are worthwhile listening to.

Also, I do think that despite the theatrical touches such as taping up kitchens as 'health hazards' because of dirty ovens (or whatever), a lot of the information is really useful and the advice he gives people is really good.

Most of those who apply it once the week with Ramsay is over do seem to do well in their business so whatver he is teaching them obviously works!

h**l's Kitchen is amusing from a 'reality tv' point of view, but less interesting to me because it's contrived and, frankly, predictable.

As a person it's hard to say what he is like.

I'm sure a lot of what we see is 'made for tv' personality ~ the swearing, yelling ,etc, BUT having worked in the restaurant undustry as a waitress for many years, I have worked with many chefs with egos and attitudes just like his (none so successful, though!), so maybe there is a basis of truth in what we see.

He does seem to have a lot of energy, be very hard working and have an amazing attention to detail. Like other successful people, he is also somewhat ruthless, and certainly very focussed. And people who work with him in his own festaurants and in places where he has visited in 'Kitchen Nightmares' seem to really like him, so I doubt he is as much of a b@st@rd as he seems.

As a tv performer, he is very entertaining, as a person, I doubt we see much of the 'real' Ramsay at all.

    Cheers :-)

  5. yeah i think he's funny, and he's actually pretty hot

  6. Gordon who?

  7. I think Gordon Ramsey is awesome.  I watch all of his shows, he is hysterical.

  8. I think its silly when people get upset by his swearing. Its just a part of the character that's been created for the show. Its not like the contestents don't know what they're getting themselves into!

  9. I love Gordon Ramsay!   I love h**l's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares.  People might not like his style, but he's very entertaining, and it's not like those people are total victims.  I mean, they know what they are getting into and know that the potential rewards are worth getting intimidated by him.  And I think that if you plan to start a restaurant, you might start by watching every episode of Kitchen Nightmares.  You'll learn a lot of unforgettable lessons from doing that.

  10. I think he is a colourful character. He is a bit blunt, and cold at times, at other times he is kind and giving.

  11. no bullsh!t straight to the point man...kickass hardass

  12. I like him :)

    He is Scottish like me })i({

He is very entertaining and doesn't hold back when telling people things )

  13. He tells it how it is.....

And he is hilarious to watch.

  14. well the kitchen fix it show is ok, but the same format gets boring and h***s kitchen format has been done before in England but with different Chefs- its entertainment, but only cause his a bully and people like to watch others squirm. Big in America, but the English prefer Jamie and his fake accent, at least he does something good with the money he makes
