  1. It would really be more important based on whom the woman is.

    For instance, two good choices:

    Clinton or Rice

    Two bad choices:

    Pelosi or Walters

  2. I am a enormous Republican when I say this, If there was going to be a female president in our lifetime Hillary would have been it.  I would have voted against here but not cried if she won.  We have had far better black men "Allen Keys" run since 1988.  Obama is just a good smooth talker!

  3. Looking forward to the day!   BTW, Maestro, you seem to be forgetting that Pakistan had a woman president in your blanket assumption about the Middle East.  Maggie Thatcher had no particular problem in the Middle East either -- it was Argentina that caused the biggest ruckus on her watch.

  4. While I have no personal reason to not want a female president, one issue that might come to the table is that of how other countries, particularly those in the Third World, view women. I would expect that a female president would have a difficult time advancing a foreign agenda in the Middle East.

And there are plenty of men who have a difficult time subscribing to female leadership. As much as feminist groups want to say the sexes are the same, they're not. We can make them "equal", but the differences would create unintended turbulence.

I would say a female president would be heavily reliant on a male cabinet.

  5. I do not think that a women nor a african american should be president. Its should be a white male like it has always been.

  6. As long as she is competent, it doesn't bother me.

  7. Depends on the woman. I don't think gender should be an issue. And to those who say women are too emotional...that's like saying that since Bill Clinton can't keep it in his pants no man can, or that all Muslims are terrorists.

  8. I originally supported Hillary Clinton. Does that answer your question?

  9. I have no objection to a woman president. However, there haven't been any woman on the national political stage that would, in my opinion, make a good president. Certainly not Hilliary Clinton.

Keep in mind that many other countries have had woman chiefs of state from Margaret Thatcher to  Angela Merkel.

  10. well i think the U.S. needs a strong man to run so the other contries no we will react correct and strong

  11. Which woman?

  12. Personally I don't care what there race s*x or gender is it depends on what they are fighting for politically.  Personally I didn't care whether Clinton or Obama won the democratic race because they mostly had the same goals in the long run which is why i really didn't care which one had won.  As long as the person has realistic goals that i wish to see achieved i would vote for them.  There s*x doesn't hurt nor help them in my book it's what they plan on doing if they are in office.  If I'm not mistaken thats what freaking matters right?

  13. I believe that anyone can be president regardless of gender. As long as they want 2 get the job done.

  14. best person for the job first and foremost regardless of s*x, race, color or religion...........

  15. I think the republican party will elect both the first woman and the first black president.

However the right person is fine regardless of s*x (or race).

But the right person will have a track record to look at.

  16. obviously it depends on the person not the gender. but i will say this also: having a woman president would definitely be a good learning experience for everyone. its would be a huge sociological experiment on multiple levels. im in.

  17. Depends on the woman.
