I love audio books. I use a website called YAKiTome! (http://www.yakitome.com) that lets me download free audio books as well as make my own -- I take work memos and convert them into audio books that I podcast to myself. Public domain stuff I turn into public podcasts if I think the information is of general usefulness. Last week I listened to two books I got from YAKiToMe! while I drove cross-country to see family. The YAK website is pretty cool, too. Enjoy.

They are often a good way to get a story without reading a book. Great for listening to while having a bath !

Be aware though that many audio books are abridged versions of the original printed books.
